Million of university candidates who took the TYT, AYT, YDT exams are eagerly awaiting the YKS results. According to the exam schedule by OSYM, the date for the announcement of YKS results has been set. They will be able to access their YKS results through OSYM’s official website as soon as they are announced.
The date for the announcement of YKS results has been declared as Wednesday, July 17, 2024, on the OSYM’s calendar. However, there is a possibility that the results might be announced earlier as OSYM has released many exams, including YKS, before the scheduled date in previous years. Last year, the results were published on the designated date, while in 2023, they were announced two days earlier. Although there is a chance for an early release of the 2024 YKS results, due to the official holiday on July 15, they might be announced at the earliest one day in advance.
OSYM has not yet announced the date for the preferences, but last year, the results were announced on July 20, and the preferences began on July 27. It is expected that this year, the preferences will start the following week after the announcement of the results.
Candidates will not receive a physical result document. They can check their exam results using their T.C. Identification Numbers and passwords through OSYM’s official website https://sonuc.osym.gov.tr or the mobile application. The announcements on the website will be considered as official notifications for the candidates.
The third session of the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS), the Foreign Language Test (YDT), has been completed. This marks the end of all sessions within the YKS exam. The 2024 YKS question booklets and answer keys have been published. Following the exam, OSYM made the YKS answer key booklet available to candidates for access through the “osym.gov.tr” website.
